 PCN Desk: The state has repeatedly faced reprimand from the Calcutta High Court over teacher recruitment. Once again, the West Bengal government came under criticism from the Calcutta High Court. The state does not have any information about government schools. Hearing this, the division bench of Justice Rajesh Bindal expressed anger over the government.

 

 A lawyer named Shubh Prakash Lahiri recently filed a case in the Calcutta High Court. In view of which the question is raised, many schools in the state have additional teachers, while there are no minimum teachers anywhere. Due to which the number of school dropouts in these schools is increasing. But the state is not taking any steps to solve this problem.

 In the context of this case, the division bench of Justice Rajesh Bindol wants to know from the public prosecutor, how many schools are there in the state, what is the number of students and what is the number of teachers? The public prosecutor could not give any good answer to the question. Instead, he asked the court for some time. In light of this, the judges questioned, "One day is enough to give this information. Are you running schools without any information? "

 

 However, in the end, the court granted a month to submit the complete information at the request of the public prosecutor. But the judges did not hesitate to criticize the state government in this regard. Why does it take so long to give their claim information? The state should have all the information ready.
